Following the successful completion of Phase I in the Ladywell Shopping Centre redevelopment, Evabuild solidified their partnership with Ke-design, enlisting their expertise for Phase II.
In Phase II, Ke-design recognised the potential of the small retail units to serve as business incubators units, fostering the growth of local startups.
Positioned with individual entrances along the newly glazed former walkway, these units were strategically nestled between two larger ones.
Evabuild proposed to renovate the north end for their own office relocation, while the southern end was earmarked for a craft beer and wine bar.
A standout feature of Phase II was the enclosing the walkway to create a feature boulevard, designed to offer an inviting atmosphere with overflow seating and casual breakout areas for each unit.
Characterised by industrial lighting and bathed in natural sunlight streaming through the glazed roof, this space seamlessly blended indoor comfort with an outdoor ambiance.
