Bungalow Remodel, Oswestry

A retired local businesswoman sought to downsize from her expansive 5-bedroom period property, opting instead for a bungalow in her desired neighbourhood, despite it not meeting all her requirements, its location made it an ideal choice. 

The 1960s two-bedroom bungalow featured a cramped entrance hall in a timber frame flat roof link to the garage. The client requested demolishing these links to create a spacious entrance, adding an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that seamlessly connected to the garden, and repurposing the garage into a luxurious master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. 

Drawing inspiration from her holiday home and Spanish architecture, she envisioned incorporating arches into the design, which Ke-design achieved in the entrance porch.
