Swimming Pool, Ruyton XI

The original house is a mix of stone, timber frame, brick clad creating its unique character. 

The original attempt, by others, to add the swimming pool was a basic brick ‘shed’, not taking in the opportunity to make the most of the south facing views. 

As the original is listed, then there was a site meeting with conservation to discuss how the pool house was to be linked with the existing. This resulted in a 2-storey extension. The client wasn’t complaining.
