Craig Marston
Director | Founder
Craig has over 25 years’ experience in architecture. Including a week’s school work experience at age 15 that confirmed his decision to pursue a career in architecture.
After completing a mix of design and technical studies, Craig began his career in domestic design. He then moved on to work with large national and international firms on urban regeneration projects, healthcare, mixed-use and retail.
When working for retail specialist, Benoy, Craig was invited to help set up their first international office in Hong Kong, working on high-end retail and mixed-use schemes.
Upon returning to the UK, Craig reunited with a former university friend and ex-colleague, collaborating on award-winning projects for a practice in Leeds.
Having returned to his hometown in 2011, in the middle of a recession, with no client base or contacts Ke-design was born.
Outside of running Ke-design, Craig enjoys watching live music, whether it’s a local covers band or traveling to Manchester or even Texas to see emerging artists. He also has a passion for good food and BBQ, combined with his love of discovering quirky and funky bars and restaurants.
